Russian Ombudsman for Children's Rights complains about boy abducted from Mariupol and adopted

At a press conference of the so-called children's ombudsman of the Russian Federation, Maria Lvova-Belova spoke about her adopted son from Mariupol. The Russian official, who is involved in the illegal trafficking of Ukrainian children to Russia, claims that the boy runs after other children saying "I'll eat a Muscovite".

A video of Lvova-Belova answering the journalist's questions is being shared on Russian Telegram channels. The Russian ombudsman says that it was her "heart's desire" to adopt a child from Donbas (to watch the video, click to the end of the page).

This is how a Russian official, who has been issued an arrest warrant by the International Court of Justice in The Hague for abducting Ukrainian children, described the problems that may await those who adopt children from Ukraine. According to her, she often hears similar situations from Russian families who have adopted children taken from Ukraine.

"Of course, I cannot say that everything goes smoothly and effortlessly. It is difficult to react when your child runs after younger children and says: "I'll eat a Muscovite", the criminal said.

It should be noted that Lvova-Belova informed Putin about the adoption of the child abducted from the territory of Ukraine in February.

As OBOZREVATEL previously reported, 45 OSCE member states have initiated an investigation into Russia's abduction of Ukrainian children. It is about the theft of young Ukrainians from the territories of Ukraine occupied by the aggressor country Russia.

It was also reported that a network of camps for "ideological re-education" and adoption of Ukrainian children abducted by the occupiers operates in the occupied Crimea. Children aged 4 months to 17 years are held there.
