It was not only the railroad that was under the gun: it became known how many sabotage incidents have taken place in Russia and occupied Crimea since the beginning of the year
Since the beginning of this year, there have been at least 57 sabotage attempts on Russian territory and in temporarily occupied Crimea. Railroads, Russian Defense Ministry facilities, and energy facilities have been targeted.
This was reported by the Russian publication Verstka. The publication took into account only attempts to destroy government facilities that had taken place.
In 2023, saboteurs most often set fire to relay cabinets on railroads - there were 36 such cases. Arson attacks on military enlistment offices were the second most common, with 9 incidents. Then come damage to railroad tracks, blowing up gas pipelines, setting fire to police cars, Federal Security Service buildings, Rosgvardiya warehouses and centers for collection of humanitarian aid for the Russian occupants.
Since the beginning of the year, sabotage attacks have occurred in 25 Russian regions and Crimea. Most of them occurred in the Moscow Region - nine, five in the Novosibirsk Region, and four each in the Leningrad Region and St. Petersburg.
As a reminder, Russia said a power line near St. Petersburg was blown up. An unknown object, probably an explosive device, was found at another similar site.
Earlier it was reported that on the night of April 30 in the Bryansk region of Russia claimed shelling with fatalities and casualties. Houses were destroyed and a fire broke out in the village of Suzemka. The incident was hastily blamed on the AFU.
As reported by OBOZREVATEL, on April 27, explosions were heard near the airport in St. Petersburg. The shockwave was quite tangible - the buildings shook.
