The Russian TV series "Happy Together" was shown for many years on Ukrainian TV, where it was very popular. However, this project, like most others, was another mouthpiece of Kremlin propaganda, which used the prism of "humor" to belittle Ukrainians and exalt the Russian Federation. In one episode of the first season, which was aired back in 2006, the Bukins went on vacation to the Sea of Azov to a fictional settlement called Staraya Chushka, which, as shown on the map on the screen, was territorially located in the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions. However, the characters proudly said it was the Russian Federation.

One of the TikTok users noticed this and recorded a corresponding video on the social network. It went viral.

The episode shows the route taken by an odious family from Yekaterinburg to a resort on the Sea of Azov. Shoe salesman Gena Bukin "patriotically" declares that he and his wife and children will be vacationing in Russia. On the way, he tells Sveta and Roma about the "sights" of their homeland.

The Bukins also make stops in imaginary settlements, but the map shows that this is not Russia, but Ukraine. The characters pass through Kharkov and Donetsk region. Then the Zaporizhzhia and Dnepropetrovsk regions - Nikopol, Energodar, Melitopol, Berdyansk.

Even then, in a typical comedy series, Russia "appropriated" Ukrainian territories, most of which are now truly occupied or were occupied at the beginning of the full-scale invasion.

Ukrainians write under the video that they were blind, because they did not notice it.

As OBOZREVATEL wrote earlier, in the 16th episode of the 34th season of the animated series "The Simpsons" mocked the head of Russia Vladimir Putin, his dictatorial policies and the long table for negotiations. The scriptwriters of the comedy created an allusion to the tyrant, which was easily recognized by viewers from Ukraine
