Ukrainian border guards detained a priest with connections in Russia and an invalid passport. The priest wanted to enter the territory of the aggressor country, but his property prevented him from doing so.

This was reported on March 24 by the press service of the State Border Service of Ukraine. "Border guards found another Unholy father," the report said (to see the photo, scroll to the end of the news).

"I would have gone (to the Russian Federation. - Ed.) if I had not been bound by apartments and my clothes, but the valuable thing is my icons," the priest wrote in one of his correspondence.

The recipient of this message turned out to be a subscriber with Russian numbers.

In addition, three of the man's last ten contacts were signed "Moscow."

The Security Service of Ukraine will investigate the priest's activities.
