Enameled pans are known for their versatility. They can be used on virtually any equipment: on a gas, electric or induction stove, in an oven and a combi oven. Enameled pans are resistant to high temperatures and durable, if it were not for one "but". It often leaves a yellowish residue on the walls, which can not be cleaned with conventional means. Read how to whiten an enameled pan to a new one in the article OBOZREVATEL.

Over time, the white enameled walls acquire an unpleasant yellow hue. In general, this happens under the influence of any colored food: after boiling beets, the color of the walls in general will become brownish-brown.

Cleaning experts recommend preparing a special mixture that will instantly clean the surface.

The necessary ingredients:

  • hydrogen peroxide
  • water.

For convenience, we publish a step by step instruction.

Step 1. Pour water into an enameled saucepan. The water level should cover the soiled areas.

Step 2. Add a few drops of hydrogen peroxide.

Step 3. The product will take effect when exposed to high temperatures. Place the pot on the stove and bring the water to a boil.

Step 4. When the water is boiling, add laundry soap. It should be grated beforehand. 1 tablespoon of soap per 1 litre of water.

Step 5. Leave the pan on the stove. The remedy should boil on low heat for 20 minutes. Then turn off the stove, but do not rush to drain the contents of the pot. It should cool down completely.

Caution

Soap in hot water will be very foamy. Care should be taken to make sure that the foam does not spill outside the pan.

By the way, burned pans can also be cleaned with environmental remedies. For example, vinegar. Experts say that it is vinegar that is the perfect helper in the fight against carbon deposits.
