Yulia PoteriankoLife
The basis for the insecticide can be laundry soap or onion husks

The currant crop is an attractive treat for some insect pests like mites and aphids. Therefore, it is important to get rid of them in time. But to do this is often offered with the help of industrial insecticides, after which the berries at best will have to be long and thoroughly washed, and then not the fact that they will be safe. Therefore, farmers have created many recipes for homemade products.

OBOZREVATEL gathered a few of these recipes. They will need only improvised and safe ingredients.

Laundry soap

A solution of ordinary household soap is able to chase away all unwanted insects from currant bushes. At the same time, it is easy enough to wash off - even heavy rain will cope with this task. To make it, you need to take:

  • Laundry soap - 1 bar;
  • Rapeseed oil - 0.5 cup;
  • Water - 10 liters.

First, pour 0.5 liters of clean water into a liter container and add to it a crushed bar of soap. Stir the mixture well and leave it for 8-10 hours to allow the soap to dissolve completely. For example, you can start preparing the mixture in the evening. Then in the morning you will need to add rapeseed oil to the liquid, stir everything well again and dissolve the resulting substance in 9.5 liters of water. The resulting liquid will need to spray the currant bushes.

Onion husk

This infusion is even easier to prepare and safer in its components. To make this insecticide, you need to take a few handfuls of the husks of onions and soak them in 10 liters of water. The liquid must be left to stand for at least five days, stirring it regularly. Before use, strain the liquid and also treat currants by spraying the bushes with it.
