Fans noticed Ukrainian neighborhood in newly released Marvel's Spider-Man 2

Gamers from all over the world held their breath with excitement as the long-awaited video game Marvel's Spider-Man 2 was released on October 20. It was announced as a sequel to 2018's Spider-Man and a spin-off of Spider-Man: Miles Morales.

The action-adventure game was perhaps the most anticipated novelty of the season for Marvel fans. Gamers have already shared the first footage, and you can see the Ukrainian district in it. OBOZ.UA offers to evaluate the developers' ideas.

According to preliminary announcements, Kraven the Hunter and Venom should appear in the plot along with Peter Parker and Miles Morales. Fans of the game have been waiting for it since September 2021 when its release was announced at the PlayStation Showcase 2021 online event. The developers included most of the team that worked on the first part of the video game.

Thus, we can see a Ukrainian neighborhood in New York. It is noteworthy that Ukrainian flags hang on the buildings.

You can even see inscriptions in Ukrainian, for example, "Лікарня," that stands for "Hospital".

The clothing store is called Kyiv Clothing Co.

There are also some interesting nuances, such as "Sklepochok", which is probably a derivative of the Polish "sklep," meaning shop.

The Ukrainian restaurant is called "The Tryzub" and has a coat of arms emblem.

The developers have taken a very careful approach to depicting our culture: they even sell Easter cakes and loaves of bread in "Пекарня" or "Bakery".

The owner of this clothing store is probably a Ukrainian, Mykhailo, as evidenced by the colorful name "Michailo's".

Pharmacies, shops, banks: everything in this neighborhood represents Ukraine.
