Cadillac is preparing its cheapest electric car. The crossover called Optiq will debut before the end of 2023 along with another model as part of the strategy of a complete transition to electric vehicles by 2030.

Carscoops has learned about the fact that, according to the company's management, two new electric cars will be presented before the end of this year. The upcoming novelty has been shown in the photo before.

The car is made in the style of the company's electric cars. At the same time, the new Cadillac Optiq will be the cheapest of them.

The length of the Optiq 2024 is 4822 mm (wheelbase is 2954 mm), the width is 1912 mm and the height is 1642 mm. The car is large and should turn out to be roomy, although photos of the interior have not been shown yet.

Prices have not been announced yet, but it is known that the car is based on the Buick Electra E5 electric car. That one costs from 30,500 to 40,500 dollars. However, Cadillac is positioned above Buick in the hierarchy of General Motors brands, so the starting price of $40,000 is a realistic option.

The second electric novelty that the manufacturer is preparing is most likely a huge Cadillac Escalade IQ SUV. As reported by OBOZREVATEL, it has already been fully declassified.
