On the morning of May 9, preparations for a military parade dedicated to Victory Day began in the Russian capital, Moscow. As the military vehicles headed for Red Square, the network erupted with memes, photo jabs, and jokes about it.

Users are convinced that this year's Russian celebration should look completely different. Instead of Russian soldiers in the background of the Kremlin, black bags should appear in which liquidated occupiers are brought home from Ukraine, or at least invaders in wheelchairs who received disabilities in the war. In addition, network users reminded us that Russian soldiers are just "minced meat" for the Kremlin, and at the front, the Ukrainian armed forces are giving them a bloody meat grinder - the Russian command in no way spares its personnel.

Recall: on May 9, a Victory Day parade will be held in Moscow on Red Square, where Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin will speak. He will be joined by only four foreign leaders - the presidents of Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Armenia, and Tajikistan.

Putin's spokesman Dmitry Peskov reported that there were no special invitations to the parade because the date - the 78th anniversary - is not circular. In 2022, there was not a single foreign leader at the Victory Parade - the Kremlin also explained then that no one was invited.

- as of May 6, six Russian regions and Russian-occupied Crimea have canceled parades until May 9 "for security reasons," while in Moscow the parade will probably be smaller than before. Also, the Russian Federation will not have a propaganda campaign, "The Immortal Regiment," this year;

- Andriy Yusov, a representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry, advised Russians not to go to this year's May 9 parade and to stay away from military hardware in general.
