On the morning of Wednesday, September 20, a large-scale fire broke out in Sochi (Krasnodar, Russian Federation) near the international airport and the Rosneft gas station, where a fuel tank engulfed in flames. Propagandists are already claiming that the facility could have been "attacked by a drone."

Earlier, residents reported a loud explosion. Russian Telegram channels wrote about the incident, publishing footage from the scene (to see photos and videos, scroll down to the end of the news).

According to them, the explosion occurred around 05:15 near the civilian airport. It is located in the Adler resort area, 28 km from the center of Sochi.

The governor of Krasnodar Veniamin Kondratiev confirmed that a tank with diesel fuel caught fire in the Adler district of Sochi on Wednesday morning. The area of the fire reached 96 square meters.
