Christmas pastries should be homemade, flavorful, with lots of dried fruit and raisins. This is all about the following cupcake. The dessert is quite sweet, soft and attractive, and is topped with snow-white fondant - perfect for tea for the holidays.

Ingredients:
- 200 g. 82% butter
- 200 g. sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 350 g. dried fruit (blue raisins, white raisins, cranberries and 50 g. dried apricots)
- a pinch of salt
- 10 g. baking powder
- 10 g. vanilla sugar
- 300 g of flour
- zest of 1 orange
- 1 tsp. spices (dry ginger, nutmeg, cardamom, cinnamon)
- 100 ml of rum for soaking dried fruits (3 tbsp for soaking the cupcake).
Ingredients for the icing:
- 1 egg white
- 150 g. powdered sugar
- 1 tbsp. lemon juice

1. Beat soft butter until fluffy and lightened.
2. Add sugar, vanilla sugar, beat again.
3. Add eggs one by one, add salt, beat thoroughly after each egg.

4. Add spices, orange zest and dried fruit, combine with the dough.
5. Add the baking powder to the flour, sift into the dough, mix gently with a spatula from the bottom/up.
6. Put the dough into a mold; if it is silicone, you do not need to grease it, if it is another mold, cover it with parchment or grease it with oil.

7. Put in the oven preheated to 170 degrees for about 1.5 hours.
8. If the cupcake browns earlier, cover with parchment on top to prevent it from burning.

9. Check readiness with a wooden skewer.
10. Prick the still hot cupcake with a skewer and soak in rum. Leave in the mold for 10 minutes, then remove from the mold and cool on a wire rack.

11. For the icing, beat the egg whites until soft peaks, gradually add the powdered sugar and finally the lemon juice.
12. Pour the icing over the cupcake and decorate as desired.
