Method of cooking sauerkraut:
1. for 1 liter of water - 1.5 tbsp. l salt
2. Bring to a boil and cool to a warm state.

3. Add 1.5 tbsp of honey and stir to dissolve.
4. Leave to cool completely.

5. Chop the cabbage. Add carrots if desired.
6. Put into a dish in which the cabbage will be fermented and tamp it down tightly.

7. Pour the brine, cover and leave on the table for 1.5-2.5 days. The cooking speed depends on how warm it is in your kitchen. After a day, you can try it.
8. In the process, you need to release the gases that form with the help of any stick (not metal).
