If you really want a mango, you don't have to buy it in a store. You can save money and replace this fruit with Ukrainian pumpkin. If you preserve the product properly, it will be indistinguishable from mango.
The idea of making canned pumpkin that tastes like mango was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Nadia Popova (nadezhda.popova.167). This preparation can even be used for salads and other snacks.

Ingredients:
- 3 kg. pumpkin
- 3 pcs. orange
- 1 piece of lemon
- 600 g of sugar
- 10 g of citric acid
Method of preparation:

1. Remove the seeds from the pumpkin.
2. Cut the flesh into cubes.
3. Dice the orange (1 with the peel and two without).

4. Cut the lemon in the same way.
5. Combine the pieces of all the fruits in a bowl.
6. Add the sugar.

7. Add citric acid.
8. Stir and leave in this state for 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
9. Put into jars and pour the juice that has formed.

10. Cover with lids and place in a saucepan covered with a cloth.
11. Cover with cold water.
12. Sterilize for 20 minutes from the moment the water boils.

13. Remove, tighten the lids and wrap in a towel.
14. Wait until it cools down.
15. Yield 7 jars of 0.5 liters + 1 jar of 200 grams.
