Perfect apple jam has a thick consistency and a rich golden color. It tastes especially good if the pieces of fruit remain intact and do not fall apart during boiling. This requires a special technique.
The idea of making a thick jam with apple slices was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Yulia with the nickname juli_co.ok. The jam can be stored right in the apartment: it does not affect the taste and consistency.

A way to make thick apple jam for the winter:
1. For 1 kg of apples, you need 800 g of sugar. But you should focus on the variety of apples: if they are very sweet, add less sugar. If they are sour, add more.

5. It is important to start cooking the jam at maximum heat (if at medium heat, the pieces will fall apart), bring to a boil and reduce the heat to medium. Bring it to a boil, boil for 3-5 minutes, remove and be sure to let it cool completely. Do this 3 times. Pour hot into sterilized jars.
