Cherry Crepe is a cake that more than one generation knows about. The very delicate dough is perfectly soaked in cream and all this is successfully complemented by juicy cherries. This dessert will become a real decoration of the festive table for Christmas.

Ingredients for the dough:

  • 200 g soft butter
  • 200 g of sour cream
  • 400 g of flour
  • 0.5 tsp of baking soda

Ingredients for the cream:

  • 700 ml of sour cream
  • powdered sugar to taste
  • 800 g of cherries
  • 50 g of corn starch
  • sugar - to taste

1. Beat soft butter with a mixer for a few seconds, add sour cream (at room temperature), flour and baking soda, and knead the dough.

2. Cover it with cling film and refrigerate for an hour.

3. Mix cherries with starch and sugar.

4. Put on medium heat and cook until thick, stirring constantly.

5. Divide the cold dough into 15 pieces.

6. Roll out each one, put the cherries in and form tubes.

7. Put them on a baking sheet covered with parchment and place in a preheated oven at 175 degrees for 12-15 minutes.

8. For the cream, mix sour cream with powdered sugar.

9. Put 5 tubes on a plate, grease them with cream. Then put 4 tubes, cream again, 3 tubes, cream, 2 tubes and finally one tube.

10. Level the cake with the remaining cream and send it to the refrigerator to stabilize for 2 hours.
