Juicy carrots are a great base for making flavorful pastries. And not necessarily sweet. You can wrap Philadelphia cheese with dill in carrot dough. This will make a very satisfying appetizer roll.

The idea of making carrot roll appetizer was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Yulia with the nickname zefirka_recipes. The dough is baked for a maximum of 20 minutes.

Ingredients:

  • carrots - 600 g.
  • eggs - 5 pcs.
  • Philadelphia - 250 g.
  • salt, pepper, to taste
  • dill, bunch
  • oil
  • a piece of butter

Method of preparation:

1. Grate raw carrots on a fine grater.

2. Fry in oil and a piece of butter, adding salt and pepper.

3. Allow to cool to room temperature.

4. Meanwhile, separate the whites from the yolks.

5. Beat the whites until stiff.

6. Add the yolks to the carrots.

7. Stir the carrots into the egg whites and mix gently from the bottom up.

8. Put the dough on a greased parchment and bake at 180 for 15-20 minutes.

9. Cool the cake, put it on cling film and grease it with Philadelphia and dill.

10. Wrap in a roll, wrap in cling film and put in the refrigerator for several hours.
