Crispy orange tea cookies that are ready in just 15 minutes

During cozy winter evenings, you always want to have tea with the whole family. In this case, it's a great idea to make crispy homemade cookies. They are especially delicious if you can feel a light citrus note in them.

The idea of making crispy orange cookies for tea was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Kateryna with the nickname kathycoooks. The cookies take only 15 minutes to bake.

Ingredients:

• flour - 350 g
• eggs - 2 pcs

• sugar - 100 g
• soft butter - 100 g
• orange juice - 50 ml
• zest from one orange
• baking powder - 1 tsp
• vanilla sugar - 0.5 tsp.
• dried lemon zest - optional
• powdered sugar - 150 g

Method of preparation:

1. Add sugar to the soft butter and mix with a mixer.

2. Add the eggs, fresh fruit and zest.

3. Mix everything well.

4. Add flour, baking powder and vanilla sugar and knead the dough.

5. Put in the refrigerator for an hour.

6. Then take out the dough and form small balls.

7. Roll each ball in powdered sugar and place on parchment.

8. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 15-20 minutes.

9. The finished cookies should cool down and can be enjoyed with tea. They are very tender and have a pleasant sourness.
