Cherry pie without dough: how to make homemade pastries in a new way
Homemade pies are the best tea treat that can be made with various berries, nuts, dried fruits, and vegetables. You can make pies without dough, replacing it with cookies.
Cook Halyna shared on Instagram a recipe for a delicious cherry curd pie without dough, based on cookies.
Ingredients:
- biscuits – 200 g
- butter – 50 g
- milk – 100 ml
Curd mass:
- cream cheese – 300 g
- yogurt – 200 g
- sugar – 2 tbsp.
Cherry filling:
- pitted cherries – 600 g
- starch – 1.5 tbsp.
- sugar – 1-2 tbsp.
Method of preparation:
1. Add sugar to the cherries and cook for 10 minutes, stirring constantly.
2. Dissolve the starch in cold water, pour it into the cherries, and cook while stirring until thickened. Remove from the stove, cover with a contact bag, and cool to room temperature.
3. Crush the biscuits, put them on the bottom of the mold, and pour melted butter.
4. Combine the cottage cheese mass with yogurt and sugar, whisk with a whisk or blender, and pour over the cookies. Put in a preheated oven and bake for 40 minutes at 170 C.
5. Take the finished base out of the oven, let it stand for 10 minutes, put the cherry mixture on top, smooth it with a spatula, and refrigerate overnight.
