Cottage cheese casserole is a great dish for a hearty breakfast or snack. You can bake a large portion for several days at once, which is very convenient. And to make the cottage cheese casserole fluffy, you need to add eggs correctly.
The idea of making a fluffy cottage cheese casserole was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Kateryna with the nickname kathycoooks. First, you need to add yolks only and whip the whites into a fluffy foam.
Ingredients:
- cottage cheese - 360 g
- sugar - 80 g
- egg yolks - 2 pcs.
- vanilla sugar - 1 tbsp
- semolina - 2 tbsp
- sour cream - 2 tbsp
- proteins - 2 pcs.
- raisins - to taste
Method of preparation:
1. Mix cottage cheese, sugar, egg yolks and vanilla sugar in a blender until smooth. Add sour cream and semolina and mix well.
2. In a separate bowl, beat whites until stiff peaks and gradually add to the cottage cheese mixture.
3. Add soaked raisins and mix well.
4. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 45 minutes.
5. Cool and then sprinkle with powdered sugar. It is delicious with condensed milk.
