How to make crispy dough for chebureks

No one can refuse crispy homemade chebureks. However, in order for the products to be successful, you need to prepare the dough correctly. Be sure to add one secret ingredient to the mass for a crispy and golden crust.

The idea of making crispy pasties was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Yulia Senych under the nickname yuliia.senych. Add a little vodka to the dough.

Ingredients:

  • flour - 400 g
  • water (boiling water) - 200 g
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • vegetable oil - 40 g
  • vodka - 20 g

Ingredients for the filling:

  • minced meat (beef + pork) - 500 g
  • onion - 1 pc
  • water - 100 g
  • garlic - 1 clove
  • spices - to taste

1. Combine sifted flour with oil and salt.

2. Pour boiling water and quickly knead the dough.

3. Pour vodka and knead the dough for 5-7 minutes. It should become elastic and not stick to your hands.

4. Wrap the dough in cling film and leave to rest for 20-30 minutes.

5. For the filling, grate onion and garlic on a fine grater or beat in a blender. It is important to chop the onion finely so that it is fried.

7. Form chebureks.

8. Divide the dough into 12 pieces. Leave them under cling film to prevent airing. Roll out one piece of dough into a thin pancake and put the filling on half of the dough (1 tablespoon). Spread the filling over the dough, not reaching the edges by 1-1.5 cm.

9. Pinch the edges well and cut off the rest of the dough with a knife.

10. Heat a frying pan well with oil.

11. Put the cheburek in the oil. As soon as it rises to the top and there are many bubbles on it, turn it over and fry until golden brown.
