  • tomatoes - 5 pcs (medium)
  • onion - 1 pc.
  • oil - 5 tbsp.
  • lemon juice - 1 tbsp.
  • sugar - 1 tbsp.
  • salt - 1 tsp.
  • spices (hmeli-suneli or other favorite) - 1 tbsp.
  • garlic - 4-5 cloves

Method of preparation:

1. Mix salt, sugar, lemon juice and vegetable oil.

2. Stir well so that the sugar and salt dissolve completely.

3. Add hmeli-suneli and pressed garlic.

4. Cut the red onion into thin half-rings and the tomatoes into thin rings.

5. Place tomatoes and onions in container, alternating layers.

6. Drizzle each layer with the marinade.

7. Put the appetizer in the refrigerator overnight.

8. The pices will open up and give all their aroma and flavor to the salad.
