Video of Jānis Timma's last minutes of life and photos from the scene appeared online

The intercom camera of a five-story building in Moscow captured the last moments of life of Anna Sedokova's ex-husband, Latvian basketball player Jānis Timma, who committed suicide. The video shows the 32-year-old athlete trying to get inside the building with a paper cup in his hands.

After several unsuccessful attempts to enter the house, the man began recording voice messages. The video, which was shared by Russian media, was cut off after Jānis Timma entered the building, and a few hours later his body was found on the stairs between the first and second floors.

It is noted that before killing himself, the basketball player drank a lot of alcohol, as an empty vodka bottle was found in his room. He is likely hinted at his intentions to commit suicide before the tragedy, as he left a comment under Sedokova's post on social media, writing "02.07.92 - 16.12.24". It is worth noting that before his death, the athlete congratulated his ex-wife on her birthday, which she celebrated on December 16.

A rope and a phone were found at the site where the basketball player committed suicide. Jānis Timma left Sedokova's number and a message on his phone urging to call her. It is reported that the basketball player died due to asphyxiation, a critical drop in oxygen levels in the body.

The athlete decided to took his own life a few days after his divorce from the singer and traitor of Ukraine. Jānis Timma had a very difficult time dealing with the breakup, as their marriage lasted about four years. It is noted that it was after the end of the relationship that the man began to have suicidal thoughts.
