Yevhen Rybchynskyi sharply addressed Taisiia Povalii, who "sold her soul to Putin," and called her a "living corpse"
Ukrainian poet and politician Yevhen Rybchynskyi addressed the traitorous singer Taisiia Povalii, who considers the bloody war in Ukraine to be a "liberation" and continues to spread propaganda narratives. The public figure dedicated poetic lines to the traitor, in which he called the artist a "living corpse" and a "damn witch."
Rybchynskyi published the poem, which also includes the name of Russian dictator Putin, on his Facebook page. In the past, Yevhen has collaborated with the singer, writing lyrics and music for many of her popular songs, including "Just Taya," "This Rain Will Last," "Thistle," "Don't Ask Me Why," and "It Will Be So." The poet's new poem reads as follows:
If only, Taisiia, I had known,
That you would betray your country
I would not have written you a song,
I would have gone to your funeral.
For you are a living corpse to me,
And I have to tell you this:
"Your Putin is a demon, a sinister devil,
To whom you have sold your soul.
This monster sows fear everywhere,
And you're like a damned witch now
In the gray skies of Moscow
In your flying coffin.
Because of people like you
A terrible war-whore has come to us
And with your voice all the time
The air raid wails.
You sing songs to those
Who want to kill Ukraine,
Who stole our blooming Crimea from us,
Turned Donbas into ruins.
You made me understand,
Taisiia, the terrible truth,
That the worst of all enemies
Is a former friend who betrayed you.
Rybchynskyi has also previously dedicated his works to Povalii. In particular, in 2019, he shared a poem in which he reminded the Kremlin's henchwoman of the war in Donbas. At that time, the author published it under the post of Ukrainian producer Olena Mozhova, who criticized the singer's concert at the Palace of Ukraine in Kyiv, which was dedicated to Taisiia's 55th birthday.
As you know, back in 2012, the traitor was running for the Verkhovna Rada from the Party of Regions. In February 2014, Povaliy fled Ukraine at the beginning of the Revolution of Dignity. While the Ukrainian people fought for the future of their country, the Putinist toured Russian cities, gave concerts in the Kremlin, and later congratulated the residents of occupied Yalta on Russia Day.
10 years ago Rybchynskyi said that his ex-girlfriend never sang for ordinary people. Instead, her audience was those in power. According to the politician, a public figure influences public opinion. "For example, a certain People's Artist of Ukraine went in the wrong direction, and joined the ranks of an organized criminal group called the Party of Regions, and many people start thinking: well, this Party of Regions is probably not so bad if people's artists join it... She sang many wonderful songs, so she must have a heart. It's probably something we don't know, but she was and is a good singer," Rybchynskyi said in 2014.
The poet called Taisiia a "zero deputy" who is only interested in money and honors, not political preferences. "Her only conviction is that I have lived half my life in poverty, I want to live richly, I don't want to live in poverty anymore and I won't... Can we judge her for that? No! But it is hardly worth respecting either," the public figure said.
Earlier, OBOZ.UA wrote about new sanctions imposed by the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine against Taisiia Povalii. Diplomats filed a lawsuit with the High Anti-Corruption Court to recover property owned directly or indirectly by the traitor. It is not only about real estate in the form of 7 land plots but even about music rights.
