On the night of May 13-14, Ukrainians and the whole of Europe watched one of the biggest international musical contests Eurovision-2022. A professional jury from Ukraine also evaluated the contestants - the judges gave a maximum of 12 points to the contestants from Sweden.

In total, 37 countries competed for the crystal microphone in the competition. The member of TNMK band Alexander Fozzi Sidorenko, singer Svetlana Tarabarova, Honored Artist of Ukraine Tonya Matvienko, frontman and founder of SKAY band Oleg Sobchuk and composer Evgeniy Khmara were the members of the jury from Ukraine. Their scores were announced by the performer Zlata Ognevich.

The scores of the professional jury of the participants of Eurovision 2022 from Ukraine:

2 points - Italy

3 points - Slovenia

4 points - United Kingdom

5 points - Estonia

6 points - Poland

7 points - Czech Republic

8 points - Australia

10 points - Lithuania

12 points - Sweden. By the way, a representative of this country won the show.

 

Recall that the Ukrainian duo TVORCHI performed immediately in the finals at number 19, since our country won the competition in 2022. They sang the song "Heart of Steal", in which they added a verse in Ukrainian and played the violin.

In addition to Ukraine, the UK, France, Germany, Italy, and Spain (the Big Five countries) were also in the final. On May 13, 10 countries, which have passed the semifinals, performed.

Also in the final of Eurovision, Ukrainian stars have sung. Among them: are the winners of last year's Kalush Orchestra, the band Go_A, the singer and the winner of Eurovision 2016 Jamala, the singers Tina Karol and Verka Serdyuchka.

- Ukrainian singer Yulia Sanina became one of the hosts of Eurovision-2023. The artist shared that she was not the only Ukrainian star who applied for the prestigious position. The singer went through a casting session online, then flew to London for a casting session. All this went on for several months in complete secrecy;

- bookmakers before the start of the Eurovision 2023 contest predicted the victory of the Swedish representative Loreen, who in their ratings noticeably broke away from her competitors. In 2012, Loreen had already won Eurovision with the song Euphoria, still considered one of the most popular hits in the history of the contest.
