Fans of the Ukrainian singer Sofia Rotaru recalled her concert in the small town of Novoselytsia, Chernivtsi region, 22 years ago. This is the artist's small homeland, to which she always returned with pleasure after touring far abroad.

The video is publicly available on YouTube, but fans have only recently posted it on Rotaru's fan page. The users were nostalgic for the performances of the star, who has not sung for almost two years, since the beginning of the full-scale war in Ukraine.

In the video, which surprised netizens, the singer addresses her interlocutor and team members in Ukrainian. Many fans remember that the singer mostly spoke Russian as she toured extensively in post-Soviet countries.

In the video, she confirmed this and added that she loves to hear the Ukrainian language from fans in Moldova, Russia, Kazakhstan, etc.
