Vasyl Virastyuk has a fifth son, who was given an unusual short name

The family of Honored Master of Sports of Ukraine Vasyl Virastyuk has grown by one more person. The 50-year-old athlete became a father for the fifth time.

The strongman shared the good news on his Instagram page. The MP's wife Iryna, who is 11 years younger than her husband, gave birth to a boy.

The couple decided not to create any unnecessary intrigue because of the new addition to the family, so they have already declassified the newborn's name. The boy's full name is Yaroslav, but his shortened form is quite unusual – Yarek.

"On 06.01.2025, at 15:55, Yaroslav (Yarek) was born to us. He is the fifth son on my side of the family. He was 58 cm tall and weighed 3850 grams. Mom, son, and dad feel great," the athlete wrote.

Vasyl Virastyuk has not yet shown what the baby looks like. However, in the background of the published photo, the newborn can still be slightly seen.

As a reminder, the MP has had three beloved women in his life, with whom he built serious relationships. He was married to his first chosen one, Svitlana, who gave birth to his son Adam, from 2003 to 2006. Their love story had a rather tragic ending, as the woman suddenly died at a ski resort in Turkey under an avalanche of snow.

Later, the athlete started an affair with Inna, whose marriage lasted 15 years, until 2024. During their life together, the couple became parents of two sons: Oleh and Sashko. According to Virastyuk, their relationship cracked when his beloved and their children left for Prague at the beginning of the full-scale invasion.

The strongman began his affair with Iryna, who is 11 years younger, while he was still married. They met by chance at a family dinner. The meeting was fateful, as they eventually tied the knot. Interestingly, he does not consider the beginning of a new relationship at a time when he had an official wife to be a betrayal. According to the strongman, it was revenge for Inna's departure abroad with her children.

By the way, Virastyuk only spoke openly about his relationship with Iryna in the summer of 2024. That was when his divorce trial with his ex-wife ended. The MP shared a photo with his new girlfriend but decided not to show her full face. The couple already has two children: Volodymyr and newborn Yaroslav.
