Large-scale Russian missile attacks that led to tragedies in Poltava, Lviv, Dnipro, and other cities make Ukrainians mourn the victims and wounded with sympathy. However, it seems that Russia's terrorist actions are not an argument for a part of the Ukrainian population that continues to consume hostile content.

Moreover, some citizens put the occupiers' music on the top of the music platforms' charts. Thus, as of August 4, there are 6 Russian tracks in YouTube's "Popular" music top, ranked 4th, 7th, 8th, 20th, 23rd, and 24th. The most recognizable performers were Russian rapper Oxxxymiron and the Russian-language band from Ukraine "Poshlaya Molly".

As you know, Oxxxymiron has openly condemned the terrorist war and supported Ukraine. The singer even gave charity concerts in support of Ukrainian refugees abroad. However, among the many domestic performers, some Ukrainians still popularize Russian music instead of promoting songs in Nightingale.

The band "Poshlaya Molly", which was founded in Kharkiv, continues to release music under the Russian label Warner Music Russia. The musicians sing in the language of the occupier and promote their tracks on Vkontakte. In the fall of 2023, the lead singer of Poshlaya Molly, Kyrylo Blidnyi, got into a loud scandal while in Poland. The band's frontman spoke disparagingly of the Polish language and suggested that Poles "join the Russian Empire."

Despite this, it is worth noting that Zlata Ognevich and Max Borodi ' s song "Without You" is leading the YouTube trends, having been at the top since August 19. Interestingly, at the time of the song's release, Ukrainians criticized the performers for the Russianism in the chorus.

Earlier, OBOZ.UA told you how Olya Tsybulska reacted to the return of singer Oleg Vynnyk to Ukrainian showbiz. The singer compared the artist to a "womanizer man".
