Miss Universe Ukraine 2023 Angelina Usanova won the Miss Eco International-2024 beauty pageant in Egypt. The aim of the contest was to draw attention to the environment and encourage people to take care of nature.

As previously reported, the winner will become a UN Goodwill Ambassador for Ecology and the Environment. The Kyiv resident impressed the jury with her dress made exclusively from used materials, which symbolized the war in Ukraine. Angelina Usanova shared photos from the award ceremony on her Instagram page.

The beauty's costumes, which were created specifically for the contest, became a reminder of the war. The Phoenix dress symbolized Ukraine, which suffers from shelling every day but continues to live.

The image of Angelina Usanova's eco-suit "World on Fire" also describes the problem of forest fires. The dress was among the top 3 winners and impressed the jury with its symbolism.

The corset of the dress is decorated with red and black plastic bottles, as well as details cut from construction tubes. Each detail is individually treated with fire to give the shape and appearance of flames. The World on Fire skirt is made of used curtains and tulle with a print of fire on it.
