These days, Vietnam is hosting the Miss Earth beauty pageant, where 21-year-old Anastasia Feier, a native of Zakarpattia, has gone from Ukraine. The beauty is trying to defend the reputation of her homeland with honor and dignity and avoids taking photos with participants from Russia and Belarus, although the organizers themselves are obviously trying to "reconcile" the three nations.

This is evidenced, in particular, by the way the editorial staff posts photos of the contestants. OBOZ.UA decided to find out what's wrong with Miss Earth and show what a Ukrainian contestant looks like.

On the official page of the contest, when posting photos of the participants, the organizers decided that it would be appropriate to publish girls from Russia, Belarus and Ukraine in sequence, although dozens of contestants from different parts of the world take part in the show.

In addition, the very fact that a participant from Russia was allowed to perform indicates the "apolitical" nature of the competition and its desire to please Russians.

A participant from Ukraine, whose relatives are in danger every day, is forced to share the stage with a Russian woman who talks about "rich Russian culture" in her business card. The war is not mentioned in the competition.

Most days are devoted to environmental issues. However, for some reason, they decided to invite a participant from the country that committed ecocide at the Kakhovka Reservoir to the Miss Earth pageant.

Voting for the bikini contest is already underway in Vietnam. The Ukrainian contestant managed to shock in an evening dress, planted trees, ran a marathon, and presented a social project dedicated to environmental protection.

She also posed in Vietnamese national costumes and walked the blue carpet in a British brand dress.

Earlier, OBOZ.UA wrote that Russian Daria Lukonkina, who is representing Russia at this year's Miss Earth contest in Vietnam, was robbed.
