Traitors and Putin-lovers: Stephen King returns to X to put Trump and Musk in their place

American writer Stephen King, who openly supports Ukraine in the war against Russia, put US President Donald Trump and businessman Elon Musk in their place after their anti-Ukrainian statements. In November 2024, the author announced that he was leaving X but now got in touch and called the couple "Putin-lovers."

The "King of Horror's" post quickly gained popularity. Since its publication, it has been viewed by more than 3 million users, and the number of likes has reached 150 thousand.

"Just wanted to say that Trump is a traitorous, Putin-loving dips**t! Goes double for Elon!" the writer wrote.

It is worth noting that although Stephen King has not been active on his personal account on X for a long time, he has not stopped expressing support for Ukrainians. On Threads, the writer noted that the words of the 74th US president that Ukraine had allegedly started a war against Russia were not true.

"Trump's declarations that 1. Ukraine started the war and 2. Zelinsky is a dictator: this is George Orwell's doublethink at its best. For the record, Russia invaded Ukraine and elections in Ukraine have been postponed while the country is on a war footing," King said.
