Those involved are to be charged. New details of Matthew Perry's death have become known

The investigation into the death of famous actor and Friends star Matthew Perry from ketamine is nearing completion. According to a law enforcement source, the police believe that "many people" should be charged.

This was reported by People magazine. The insider claims that the final decision on whether or not to press charges will be made by the US Attorney's Office.

Perry passed away on October 28, 2023 at the age of 54. His death was ruled an accident. An autopsy report obtained by journalists in December revealed that the actor died from acute exposure to ketamine, with other factors including drowning, coronary heart disease, and buprenorphine.

Last December, the Los Angeles County coroner closed the investigation into Matthew's death. In May 2024, the Los Angeles Police Department reported that after the medical examiner released his report, the city's law enforcement officers began investigating the circumstances of the celebrity's overdose death. In particular, the police tried to find out where the ketamine that killed Perry came from.

According to the autopsy, the star was on ketamine infusion therapy. A year before his death, he told in his memoirs about his struggle with addiction.
