"This man is dead to me forever": Ivo Bobul spoke about the conflict with Vasyl Virastiuk

Ukrainian folk artist Ivo Bobul still cannot forgive athlete Vasyl Virastiuk after their conflict in 2016. Back then, the strongman mocked the singer because of his personalized room in a hotel in Chernivtsi.

Ivo Bobul spoke about this in an interview on Slava Diomin's YouTube channel. In particular, the singer refused to communicate with the athlete, although, as he noted, he had never met him.

"This man is dead to me forever," Bobul said.

Despite his resentment, Bobul is ready to forgive Virastiuk if he contacts him and apologizes, "I will. I generally don't hold grudges for long, especially when I see that they are famous and they have something in their head. He may have offended me by mistake."

The scandal occurred back in 2016 when Vasyl Virastiuk found "Ivo Bobul's personalized room" in a Chernivtsi hotel. He posted photos from the room on his blog, which contained memorabilia of the singer, including pop costumes and rare photos. Virastiuk ridiculed the so-called museum room. Ivo Bobul was very angry with this behavior and called it "a mockery of his achievements."

"This is not a joke, this is stupidity. You shouldn't laugh at what a person has. Why should I? I don't have an apartment in Chernivtsi. I come here, I live there. This is my room. And there are photos of other artists whom I love, my path, how I started... There is something old there, too. For example, a guitar. Why laugh?" Bobul told about the sacredness of his hotel room.
