The Queen's 'Rock': what Camilla's younger sister, with whom she has an extremely strong bond, looks like
The wife of the British King Charles III, Camilla, has a sister, Annabel Eliot, who is 2 years younger than her and who is her support and "rock." They have always been able to stand up for each other.
The British public has long appreciated and admired Princess Annabel as a tireless, faithful harbinger of common sense within the royal family, Daily Mail writes. Since childhood, the sisters have always supported each other and even described their childhood as "perfect".
If Queen Camilla has a best friend and ally, it is undoubtedly her sister, with whom she has experienced all the happiest and saddest times of her life, from childhood quarrels to the joy of her coronation in Westminster Abbey.
In a documentary Annabel made for her sister Camilla's 75th birthday, Elliot said that she still hasn't forgiven her for hiding her favorite stuffed animal, Teddy, in her bed. But they were always together when they attended the same school, competed in Pony Club events, and then went to the same parties.
The two sisters have been each other's "rocks" since the deaths of their mother in 1994, their father in 2006, and their younger brother Mark in 2014, the Daily Mail reports. It is therefore not surprising that Camilla invited Annabel to accompany her to her coronation.
"I think I was always nervous going to the abbey. She's a little bit smaller than I. I was worried if she was going to be okay," Camilla said of her sister during her coronation.
