Queen Mary of Denmark made a public appearance in a deep cabbage-colored suit, breaking her own style rule. The royal is known for her eco-friendly approach to fashion: she can often be seen wearing outfits she has worn before.

This time, however, Mary surprised the public by wearing a bright blue trouser ensemble. It was reported by HELLO.

The asymmetrical basque jacket emphasized her figure, while the flared trousers looked elegant when paired with matching Jimmy Choo heels. The queen's look was completed with wavy hair and a brown smokey eye with pink lipstick.

The 52-year-old monarch added gold earrings and two exquisite necklaces with the initials of her husband, King Frederick, as well as their four children - Crown Prince Christian, 18, Princess Isabella, 16, and 13-year-old twins, Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine.

Mary made a public appearance on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the association, which helps talented people with autism and other disabilities find employment. The event took place on the territory of the National Museum in Copenhagen.
