The network showed pictures of the apartment where Kate Middleton and her sister Pippa lived before marriage

The network showed pictures of a luxurious apartment in the historic Chelsea district of London, where Kate Middleton and her younger sister Pippa once lived. This home for the girls was purchased by their parents Carol and Michael in 2002, after they themselves moved to a house in the countryside. The future Princess of Wales lived in the three-bedroom apartment before she married the heir to the British throne, Prince William, in April 2011.

After the girls moved out of the apartment, their parents decided to resell it, asking potential buyers for a not-so-large sum of £1.95 million (UAH 85 million). However, in 2019, the property was sold for £1.88 million (UAH 82 million), the Daily Mail reports.

On the Knight Frank website, where the apartment was put up for sale, there are pictures of the bedrooms, living room, kitchen, dining room and two bathrooms. It was there that Kate and Pippa Middleton once spent their student evenings, and soon built a career in luxury brand marketing.

The interior design, as can be seen in the published footage, is made in a classic English style. The rooms are simply but tastefully decorated. They look cosy but expensive at the same time.

You can see that the girls preferred neutral warm colours. The living room is accented by a carpet with oriental notes and a red sofa with cute pillows and a blanket. There is another sofa next to it, but this one is white.

The rooms are very spacious and bright. They are furnished with traditional wooden furniture.

It is noted that the Chelsea district, where the apartments were located, is home to wealthy citizens. Kate and Pippa lived within walking distance of King's Road, the most fashionable street in the west end of London, where an atmosphere of luxury and affluence reigns. It is a neighbourhood with an endless array of restaurants, shops and nightclubs.

Ironically, the maiden apartment of the wife of the future King of Great Britain was located not far from Kensington Palace, where much later Kate Middleton occupied an apartment of 20, not three rooms.

As OBOZREVATEL wrote, earlier Middleton delighted fans with her childhood photo, in which she poses with her father Michael, gently touching his smiling face with her tiny palm. Fans immediately began to make collages comparing little Kate and the youngest child of the Prince and Princess of Wales, Louis.
