Melissa became interested in tattoos about ten years ago. The Welsh resident is a mother of seven, but five of them do not keep in touch with her because of her shocking image.

When Sloan decided to disguise her tattoos with makeup, her younger children urged their mother to immediately return everything to the way it was and refused to talk to her. The fact is that they had never seen their mother without drawings, because they were born when Melissa had already changed her appearance.

However, Sloan's appearance has caused many difficulties. The British woman hasn't worked for 20 years, because potential employers are not ready to consider such a candidate for a job.

Melissa even offers to clean toilets. The issue of work became especially acute when she learned about her 11-year-old daughter Otom's disease, which could cause her to go blind in the future.

And recently, Sloan was banned from attending church, in part because of the crucifix tattoo on her face. Most of her drawings were done by her partner Luke, whose health is now in danger.

Melissa wanted to pray for him, but was kicked out of the church. The local priest personally asked Sloan to leave the premises, adding that she was singing "too loudly." "The church should open its doors to everyone, but they kicked me out. I was singing there with a bunch of people, it was crazy," she commented.
