Ukrainian singer Fiinka (real name: Iryna Vykhovanets), who participated in the final of the National Selection for Eurovision 2023 with her colorful song "Dovbush," has admitted whether she is ready to participate in this year's song contest. The artist did not give a specific answer, but explained that in a certain case she is ready to compete for the opportunity to represent Ukraine.

She noted that if she manages to write a great contest song, she will participate. In particular, Fiinka compared the National Selection to the birth of a child in the Weekend Show program on M1.

"You know, it's like giving birth to a child. You say you'll never go back there again, but then you forget, your memory is taken away from you. And then you think, maybe again? If you mess up like you did with the second unplanned one, then maybe. I'm not ruling out this option," she initially said.

The singer believes that she will be able to take part in the National Selection for Eurovision 2025 if she writes a hit that the whole world should hear. "If it works out with the song, then why not. If I write something so human that I think the world should hear," the artist said.

Fiinka also reacted to the news that singer Solokha has submitted her application for participation and to rumors that Klavdia Petrivna will compete for the opportunity to represent Ukraine at the competition. When asked by the hosts which of these two artists she would vote for, the girl chose Tina Karol, who will be a music producer on the show.

"To choose between the two? For Tina Karol! So she can deal with it," Fiinka joked.

It is known that the singer performed in the final of the National Selection for Eurovision 2023 with the song "Dovbush" with a Hutsul flavor. Her performance combined Carpathian authenticity and Ukrainian modernity. At the time, not everyone liked folk motifs, and so the artist took 4th place in the general vote of the jury and the audience.
