Friends star finds note from deceased Matthew Perry

American actress Lisa Kudrow shared that she recently found a note from her friend and colleague on the Friends series Matthew Perry, whose life ended in 2023. According to the celebrity, he left her a small message in a box of cookies that he gave her a long time ago.

According to People, the actress received such a gift from Matthew Perry on the last day of work on the legendary sitcom. The 61-year-old celebrity said that this box of sweets was one of the props on the set.

"Matthew gave it to me at the end of our last episode together. I recently found the note he left for me. I didn't open it or look inside. But yes, he did. He put a note there," the star shared.

Lisa Kudrow did not disclose what exactly Matthew Perry wrote in that message. She only noted that time radically changes the perception of such small things.

The actress said that the celebrity decided to give her a box of cookies for a reason. The fact is that during the filming of one of the scenes, Kudrow said the phrase: "Oh, I'm late. I'd better get going." However, when the celebrity was in front of the camera, she realized that she had forgotten to put on her wristwatch. Then the actress had to quickly find a way out of the awkward situation. It seemed to her that there was a real watch on the fridge, so she pointed to it and added that she had to go. Later it turned out that she had used the same cookie box to "tell the time" because it had a dial on it.

After a curious incident, Matthew Perry decided that he had to give this prop to Lisa Kudrow.

"I think the first thing I asked was: "That's so sweet – did you get permission?" I mean, back then, my car was searched every night when I left the set," the celebrity said.
