Singer Voronova, who filmed and distributed the work of air defence in Kyiv, is sentenced: what the court ruled

Inna Voronova is sentenced

The ex-wife of Kyiv drug dealer Yuriy Chernetsky, a notorious singer and blogger Inna Voronova, was sentenced for filming and sharing videos of Ukrainian air defence operations on social media, which literally facilitated the work of the Russian occupiers. The Dnipro District Court of Kyiv found the performer guilty.

Thus, the court sentenced Voronova to 5 years in prison, with a probationary period of 1 year. That is, if the Kyiv resident does anything during this year, she will be sent to prison to serve the rest of her sentence. OBOZREVATEL learned about this in an exclusive comment from the press service of the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office.

According to sources, Voronova pleaded guilty and entered into a plea deal with the investigation.

On 16 May, for some reason, a singer from Kyiv filmed the work of air defence in the capital and posted the video online, indicating the location from which she filmed, making it easier for the Russian occupiers to give away the location of the air defence. This video was instantly spread by Russian media and other enemy Internet resources.

After that, the Security Service of Ukraine visited the apartment of the disgraced performer, from where she filmed the work of the defenders of the sky, and served her with a suspicion notice. In addition, three other bloggers were notified of the suspicion. At the time, it was reported that they faced up to eight years in prison.

As OBOZREVATEL previously wrote, Voronova returned to social media after talking to the SBU. She deleted her video with an apology and posted a segment of a "patriotic" track.
