Oksana Bayrak, a Ukrainian film director who is now in Russia making films for propaganda TV channels, said that she misses Ukraine and will definitely return home. The fugitive also switched to the state language and criticized Viktor Medvedchuk, the godfather of aggressor President Vladimir Putin.

This became known from one of the recent live broadcasts that Bayrak held on her Instagram. It is still unclear what happened to the traitor's rhetoric, but OBOZ.UA offers you to recall the most scandalous statements she made in recent years.

Back at the beginning of the full-scale war, Oksana Bayrak claimed that it was allegedly Ukraine that was to blame for everything and that Ukrainians should be a "brotherly people" with Russians. She expressed this pro-Russian position in personal messages to actress Natalia Denysenko.

The director moved to Russia in the summer of 2023. Before that, the fugitive was in Odesa. During the broadcast, she assured people that she would definitely return to Odesa and Kyiv because it is "her homeland." Bayrak now lives between Turkey, St. Petersburg, and Alushta.

Earlier, the director called those who left Ukraine because of the war "rats." "I didn't run away like rats from Ukraine to the safe, sweet West. Close and not so close. To shed pseudo-patriotic tears in a luxurious life. I'm talking about the so-called stars," Bayrak said about her life in Odesa. Instead, the pseudo-patriot herself chose sweet St. Petersburg.

Now she does not hide her love for the Russian "Peter". "St. Petersburg-Leningrad. My love and admiration. The most beautiful and stable city in the universe," reads one of the fugitive's posts.

During the broadcast, Ukrainians wrote outraged comments to the star, to which the director angrily responded in her native language, assuring her that she loved her country. "I am not only from Ukraine. I am a Ukrainian! And I believe that I am the greatest patriot!" she replied. To "confirm" her words, Bayrak sang "Chervona Ruta".

However, at the same time, as OBOZ.UA learned, the filmmaker is working on a new series Dozhd na ishode leta (Rain at the End of Summer) for a propaganda TV channel. The main role in the film is played by Anton Batyrev, who previously starred in Ukrainian TV series, and after February 24, 2022, posted the letter "Z" with a St. George's ribbon on the social network VKontakte. Bayrak is very close to the propagandist: the director often posts photos of them posing together.

During the broadcast, Bayrak also criticized the traitor Viktor Medvedchuk, adding that "our oligarchs have become insolent." "Mr. Medvedchuk, such a great patriot, a pseudo-patriot, has become so arrogant that he has built himself a golden castle. There is also a sanatorium for children with tuberculosis near the castle. So he decided to grab some land there as well," she explained.

However, she did not ignore her own earnings, saying that she was earning money in Russia for her sick mother.  According to actor Serhii Kalantai, the money Bayrak used to make her films always came from Moscow. The director was fond of Russian culture and did not hide her pro-Russian views.
