Sean Penn after breaking up with Ukrainian woman explains why he no longer wants a relationship

Sean Penn confessed why he no longer wants a serious relationship

Oscar-winning American actor and director Sean Penn, known for his stormy romances and numerous marriages to famous singers and actresses, has decided at the age of 63 that he will no longer look for love. The last time he decided to get serious was with Ukrainian star Olga Korotyaeva, with whom he broke up last year.

Emotional distress forced the star to give up looking for a new woman. As the director explained to The New York Time, he doesn't want to suffer anymore.

The friend of Ukraine admitted that he used to love drama in relationships, but now, even if Penn is madly in love with someone, scandals and emotional swings will scare him away.

"I'm just free. If I'm going to be in a relationship, I'll still be free, or I won't be in it, and I won't suffer. I don't feel that my heart will be broken by romance again," the director explained.

Now he is not in love with anyone. Moreover, the celebrity emphasized that even in a permanent relationship, he would be free and not suffer.

As a reminder, Penn was married to Madonna from 1985 to 1989. This marriage was passionate and emotional, so it is still mentioned in interviews with the actor. In 1996, the actor legalized his relationship with Robin Wright, with whom he has a daughter and a son. They divorced in 2010.

Later, Sean Penn married Australian actress Leila George, but in October 2021, a year after the wedding, the woman filed for divorce. He has also been romantically linked to Charlize Theron, Scarlett Johansson, and actress Olga Korotyaeva, who was the last in the list of the star's serious relationships.

As OBOZ.UA wrote, his intention not to get attached to women does not prevent the friend of Ukraine from going out with them. He was spotted walking with his 39-year-old colleague Natalie Kelly.
