Russians steal the legendary Ukrainian "Shchedryk" and stage a cynical show

Russia has always brazenly stolen Ukraine's culture, history, and heritage, but this time the occupiers have encroached on the sacred: they have translated the legendary Ukrainian song "Shchedryk" by Mykola Leontovich into Russian. Moreover, they also staged a cynical ice show called "Vechory Na Khutori," which is also Ukrainian. The story is set in Poltava region, and the author is Ukrainian playwright Nikolai Gogol.

If you think that this is the end of the barrage of cynicism and absurdity, it is not. This whole bacchanal was organized by figure skater Tatiana Navka, a native of Dnipro and now the wife of Putin's press secretary Dmitry Peskov. Relevant photos and videos were shared online.

Thus, many Russian Putin fans stars came to see ice show. All of them were happy to share on their social networks the footage, which is direct proof that Russia is always stealing everything from Ukraine, unable to come up with anything of its own.

The ex-Ukrainian Navka turned Vechory Na Khutori Bluz Dykanky into an incomprehensible Russian parody with hybrids of "Russian-Ukrainian" costumes. For example, the protagonist of the story Nich Pered Rizdvom Oksana, appeared on the ice in a kokoshnik with ribbons and flowers that looked very much like a Ukrainian wreath. And it was the second headdress that Oksana wore in the original.
