Not "brotherly peoples" but "three sisters". Rapper Seryoga, who has lived in Ukraine for 10 years, called Sevastopol Russian and spoke of a "war against the Slavs"

Rapper Seryoga, who has lived in Ukraine for 10 years, called Sevastopol Russian and spoke about the "war against the Slavs"

Belarusian rapper Seryoga (real name: Sergei Parkhomenko), who lived in Ukraine for about 10 years, was a judge on The X Factor and dreamed of the revival of the USSR, openly spoke about his love for Russia and his commitment to conquering everything where the Russian Federation once had a footprint.

In an interview with propagandist Boris Korchevnikov on Russian television, he said that 33 years after the collapse of the Soviet Union, he still cherishes it in his heart and tries to remind everyone of its former existence. In particular, he also tried to reveal his psychic abilities, because, as the rapper repeats to everyone, he predicted the Russian attack on Ukraine.

"You are a Belarusian who knows Russia well, and who knows Ukraine well," the host said, emphasizing that Seryoga had "a lot of dramatic things happen in his life." Korchevnikov "recalled" that the rapper had predicted Russia's attack on Ukraine, and later the propagandist himself boasted about it, although he does not rule out the possibility that he was informed about it by his acquaintances in Russia.

"I'm from the Soviet Union, and even when they ask me at the border 'Where do you come from,' I answer: "Every time, without any changes, I say, 'From the Soviet Union. Do you remember such a country?" said Seryoga, who lived in the USSR for only 14 years and did not see all the "charms" of survival in those days.

"I have never hidden my longing and nostalgia for the great red project [of communism]. I was, am, and will be worried about the people who inhabit all the former republics without exception," the propagandist said. However, it is not known whether he included the countries that are currently NATO members, such as Poland, Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia.

It is clear from his words that he "misses" the cooperation of Belarus, Ukraine, and Russia the most: "Everything is so intertwined, the three republics are three sisters, that it is difficult to determine the moment when I took root there [in Ukraine]." Thus, "brothers" turned into "sisters" in the rapper's imagination.

The Belarusian also recalled that he has a Ukrainian surname ending in -enko (Parkhomenko). But this is not a good reason not to support Russian propaganda. "I am a patriot of the great Russian space," he eloquently described himself.

In particular, even before the Revolution of Dignity in 2014 and before the illegal seizure of Crimea by the Russian army, he claimed that the peninsula allegedly belonged to Russia, and "Sevastopol is a Russian city," although his statements were not publicly disseminated until 2021 and he kept quiet about it.

Seryoga also tried to reveal his psychic abilities and, in addition to predicting the war, said that "external forces" had pushed him to "an unprovoked war against the Slavs." Of course, like all propagandists, he named the United States as the aggressor and initiator, but he did not say so directly, only hinted: "Produced by a large, collective, very predatory part of humanity that considers itself better."
