National Selection 2024. MELOVIN hinted at falsification of the results and named four points that confused him

MELOVIN, a popular Ukrainian singer and participant of this year's National Selection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2024, who received 18 points and took third place in the judges' and audience voting, gave his first comment after the winners were announced. According to the singer, he has questions about the correctness of the counting of Ukrainian votes due to a large-scale failure of the Diia app.

Kostiantyn Bocharov (real name) does not believe that the app could have crashed due to overload and a record number of visitors, arguing that hackers from the terrorist country of Russia tried to "put down" Diia, but they, unlike Ukrainian Euro fans, failed. The singer shared his suspicions about vote fraud in an interview during the "Single Marathon," a fragment of which he posted on his personal Instagram page.

In addition, the artist had questions about such a large gap between the first and second place in terms of the number of viewers' votes – almost seven times, which is an absolute record. The participant of the National Selection is also confused by the scores from the professional jury, saying why they gave high marks to those who were criticized live after the performance.

"Do I agree with the voting? It raises a lot of questions: Diia has "taken off" is impossible, because the occupier's hackers are trying to get there almost every day and in vain; the gap between 1st and 2nd place of 600,000 is a question; and who will explain the jury's vote when those who were criticized were rated the highest," MELOVIN expressed his opinion.

Moreover, the singer almost directly stated that the National Selection was allegedly "bought". As you know, the winners, who received 10 points from the jury and 11 from the audience (more than 723 thousand votes), were Jerry Heil and Alyona Alyona. The latter is a co-founder and member of the ENKO label, and her colleague is a collaborator with it.

MELOVIN commented: "If at first, we heard from bloggers in the comments that ENKO offered to pay most of the Eurovision fee to go, today we heard it in the walls of Suspilne from the workers who work there. Thank you for this information."

Many people thought the singer's reaction to the results of the National Selection was a bit "offended". So, a little later, MELOVIN posted an additional post in which he emphasized that he has no complaints against Jerry Heil and Alyona Alyona, and sincerely wishes them to win in Malmö. The singer also thanked his team and fans for their support and votes.

"The jury's scores came as a real surprise to me, Diia's performance caused a lot of nerves and questions. However, I don't think there were winners and losers among the 11 finalists - all the participants were different musically, had their own style. And it's interesting. I'm not saying this as a participant of the selection. I sincerely wish the winners to represent our country on the European stage with dignity. To break and win the audience! Because, as I've said in every interview, their song is a f*ck-up! And I listened to it on repeat! So, dear commentators, your attempts to put me on the victim's shirt, who doesn't know how to lose, look rather strange. I have a grain of doubt about the voting, but not about our winners," commented MELOVIN.

Meanwhile, bookmakers predict Ukraine to win the international song contest Eurovision 2024. After the announcement of the results of the national selection, according to which Jerry Heil and Alyona Alyona will go to Malmö (Sweden), the chances of our country increased from 15% to 16%.
