Michael Douglas, a 79-year-old American actor and star of "Basic Instinct," who has been supporting Ukraine since the first days of Russia's full-scale invasion, has arrived in Kyiv. According to the Department of Tourism and Promotions of the Kyiv City State Administration, the Oscar winner has already had time to admire the city's sights.

On the organization's official Facebook page, you can see a picture of Douglas with his son Dylan in front of St. Andrew's Church. "During the walk, Michael visited St. Michael's Golden-Domed Monastery, St. Michael's Square, and Volodymyrska Hirka Park, where he viewed the picturesque views of the Dnipro River, and then visited the majestic St. Andrew's Church," the post reads. It is noted that the guest was impressed by the beautiful architecture of the capital and was also interested in the history of Kyiv.

Douglas came to the heart of Ukraine to join an important event as a UN Goodwill Ambassador. The actor will take part in the First Ladies and Gentlemen Summit. The event, organized by Olena Zelenska, will take place on September 12.
