Maxim Galkin visits Ukrainian Museum

Russian comedian Maxim Galkin, who left the country with his family after the outbreak of a full-scale war and condemned the Kremlin's terrorist regime, visited the Ukrainian Museum in New York (USA). The comedian attended an exhibition of paintings by prominent Ukrainian artists and shared his impressions.

A corresponding post appeared on the official Instagram page of the 48-year-old comedian. He showed his fans some of the most impressive exhibits presented there.

"Today I visited the Ukrainian Museum in New York, a small but very interesting exposition of Ukrainian modernism: Davyd Burliuk, Volodymyr Burliuk, Maria Syniakova, Oleksandr Bohomazov and others," the celebrity wrote.

According to Maxim Galkin, a separate floor was allocated to the works of the outstanding artist and illustrator Oleksandra Ekster. Paintings, sketches for scenery and outfits created by the cultural figure are displayed in a large room.

"In one of the halls, one can see a fragment of the old movie Aelita with costumes designed by the artist, one of which is also presented at the exhibition," Maxim noted.

In the comments, Maxim Galkin's followers from Ukraine thanked the comedian for making the works of Ukrainian artists public and shared their own opinions about the exhibits. The comedian even communicated with one of them in Ukrainian.
