Lilia Podkopaeva showed rare photos with her businessman lover whom she met in the United States

Olympic gymnastics champion Lilia Podkopaeva showed rare footage of her beloved businessman Ihor Dubynskyi, whom she met in the United States. She published a touching post on the occasion of the anniversary of their marriage.

The photos posted on Instagram show the happy couple spending time in a romantic setting. Podkopaeva admitted that before they met, she had no idea that the love written about in books could be so long-lasting.

"Imagine living 39 years and crossing an ocean to meet you... and not just anywhere, but in my beloved Atlanta. It's truly magical for me," the gymnast wrote. "You keep asking me where I've been all this time and why we haven't met before. And you know what? I don't have an answer! But to be honest, I have the same question for the universe."

According to Podkopaeva, before she met Dubynskyi, she was sure that love, as in books, lived for a maximum of three years. But now she has learned that this is not true.

"And then, oh, my goodness, we set a new record together," the gymnast added, "I'm afraid to even imagine what will happen next, but I know for sure it will be interesting.

Podkopaeva's post touched her fans, who left comments wishing her family happiness:

Podkopaeva's first husband was businessman Timofii Nahornyi. In 2006, they adopted a boy, Vadym, and later had a daughter, Karolina.

The gymnast met Dubynskyi in the United States. In 2019, it became known that she was expecting a child with him. The girl was named Evelina.
