Leonardo DiCaprio turns 50: what was the closed star party like, where everyone was forced to tape over the cameras

Leonardo DiCaprio turned 50 years old

Today, on November 11, Hollywood actor and Oscar winner Leonardo DiCaprio turned 50. The celebrity spent his anniversary with family and friends at a grand party that took place two days before the holiday at a private residence in Los Angeles.

The large-scale celebration was attended by about 500 guests, including Brad Pitt, Tobey Maguire, Odell Beckham Jr, Teyana Taylor, Jamie Foxx, Paris Hilton, Cara Delevingne, Chris Rock, Katy Perry, Orlando Bloom, and the birthday boy's parents, George DiCaprio and Irmelin Indenbirken. However, the attendees of the event are unlikely to share memorable shots of the Titanic star's birthday on the network, as there was a rather interesting rule at the party that forced everyone to stick cameras on their phones, writes Page Six, citing an insider.

The fact is that Leonardo DiCaprio's party took place in one of the most exclusive clubs in Hollywood – San Vicente Bungalows. The establishment has strong beliefs about the privacy of its clients, so it is forbidden to take photos or videos on its territory. According to the source, the club's employees had about 700 special stickers used to prevent filming of the star-studded celebration.

According to People magazine, the Oscar-winning actor was quite careful about the music for his party. American singer and music producer Anderson Park worked at the DJ booth. According to an insider, guests were treated to expensive champagne, and the main dessert was carrot cake. Throughout the event, Leonardo DiCaprio was in a great mood, so he was friendly with everyone present.

"He was incredibly happy and hugged all his guests. Leo was on top of his game all night," the source said.

The insider noted that in addition to world stars, the party was also attended by many of the actor's friends from school.

The event was not without emotional moments, TMZ writes. Singer Stevie Wonder personally performed his legendary song "Happy Birthday" for the actor, while other guests stood around the birthday boy and applauded him. Leonardo DiCaprio was very touched by this gift and could not even hold back his tears.
