Kate Middleton leaves Windsor for the first time after abdominal surgery: why this is a good sign

Kate Middleton moved for a short time

Princess Kate Middleton of Wales, who underwent a successful elective abdominal surgery almost a month ago, is on the mend and can now leave the house. Recently, she joined her husband, Prince William, and their three children on vacation at Sandringham Manor in Norfolk.

A family friend told the Daily Mail that the Duchess was feeling well and was looking forward to leaving Windsor. The 42-year-old princess was discharged 12 days ago, and she hasn't appeared in public since then.

After being discharged from the hospital, Kate Middleton arrived at Adelaide Cottage, a four-bedroom family home in Windsor Home Park, without being photographed. However, she has now moved out for a short time.

The Dukes' children, Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, five, attend Lambrook School, a 15-minute drive from their home in Berkshire. However, they are currently on a semester vacation.

For the time being, the family has moved to Norfolk to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and the eyes of the public.

As before, the princess does not appear in public to avoid giving unnecessary reasons to discuss her condition and appearance after surgery.

As a reminder, on January 16, Kate Middleton was hospitalized for abdominal surgery. Representatives of the British royal family reported at the time that the 42-year-old Princess of Wales would stay in the hospital for about two weeks.

It is known that after discharge, the Princess of Wales will "work from bed" and will not appear in public until Easter, so several events planned for this time had to be canceled.

As OBOZ.UA previously reported, Buckingham Palace announced that King Charles III had been diagnosed with cancer. The day before, Prince William spoke about his father's illness and his wife's surgery.
