Cancer patient Kate Middleton was seen in public for the first time since early July 2024. The wife of Prince William joined the family, which went to the royal residence in Balmoral.

According to the photos published by the Daily Mail, 42-year-old Kate was in a good mood when she arrived at a local church on Sunday with her husband. The King and Queen of Great Britain were also caught on camera. William was driving, smiling and talking to his beloved, and Prince George was in the back seat.

Meanwhile, Charles, 75, and Camilla, 76, appeared in brightly colored suits. The Queen chose a bright green jacket decorated with red details and buttons. Her husband wore a kilt and a gray jacket.

Middleton is slowly and gradually returning to public life following news of her health issues. Kate will be joining the royal family in Balmoral this month, which will be her longest trip since she revealed her diagnosis.

She and the Prince of Wales have been coming to the estate in the Scottish Highlands every summer since their wedding in 2011. Some insiders feared that this year would be different due to the princess's health. Her presence is seen by many as another confirmation: Kate is making "significant progress" after her diagnosis. The annual vacation to Balmoral is a tradition for the royal family, where they can relax in the peaceful countryside.

The last time Middleton was seen in public was during the men's Wimbledon 2024 final. Kate personally handed the award to the winner. The princess took her 9-year-old daughter Charlotte and younger sister Pippa with her.
